FSL Announces Five New Board Members
The five newcomers will utilize their expertise to guide FSL’s work in healthy aging
FSL (Foundation for Senior Living) is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members joining the Board of Directors: Alexus Anderson, Julia Brooks, Debbie Gross, Caroline Harland and Bobby Olsen.
“We’re thrilled to welcome these five talented individuals to our board,” said Tami Bohannon, president and CEO of FSL. “Their personal and professional experiences, extensive knowledge and passion for this community will help guide FSL’s strategies and mission as we continue to meet the growing need for services in Arizona.”
Alexus Anderson comes to FSL with a background in Elder Law matters, specifically in the areas of guardianships and conservatorships, probate and trust administration, and wills and trust. It is her life’s passion to support her clients as they navigate the challenges of aging and the legal avenues they have to cover with their families. Alexus believes in advocating for aging adults and adults with disabilities while being proactive in finding solutions. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Julia Brooks spent 33 years as the executive director and CEO of the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce and has more than 40 years of experience in economic development, governmental affairs and non-profit management. She has extensive insights into volunteer recruiting, marketing, event production and more. Julia and her husband own Brooks Air Conditioning, a Wickenburg HVAC staple for the last 45 years.

Debbie Gross MBA, CDP, is a seasoned business owner and executive of more than 25 years who leads multiple Home Instead franchises, blending high-tech solutions with a personal touch in professional caregiving. She has first-hand experience as a family caregiver, providing care for her father after he was diagnosed with dementia. Debbie’s personal and professional journey has only solidified her commitment to preserving seniors’ independence and dignity. She actively engages with local organizations, advocating for the needs of aging adults.
Caroline Harland brings three decades of experience in executive leadership, coaching and human resource management to her new role on the FSL Board of Directors. She brings unique perspectives on talent acquisition, management and team development. Caroline serves on the executive board of the Arizona Human Resources Executive Association and is a regular speaker at human resources and industry related conferences. She feels it is her honor and duty to give back to the community and serves as a coach and mentor to both executive and emerging female leaders.

Bobby Olsen has spent 18 years working for the Salt River Project (SRP) in various roles that have allowed him to tackle major projects while honing his skills in planning, strategy and marketing. He has developed his knowledge of environmental services and currently serves as SRP’s associate general manager, chief planning, strategy, and sustainability executive, helping establish and execute SRP’s transition towards a more sustainable resource portfolio. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University.
