Helping Caregivers Care for Themselves

Many people do not think of themselves as caregivers—they are simply helping someone they love. Yet caregiving often includes managing appointments, medications, daily living activities, emotional support, household responsibilities, and complex healthcare decisions.

Our programs are designed to help caregivers build resilience, reduce stress, access trusted information, and find community throughout their caregiving journey. By offering emotional support, practical advice, essential resources, and connecting you with a supportive network, we are committed to ensuring you have the guidance needed to confidently care for your loved ones while maintaining your own well-being.

WHAT WE OFFER

Comprehensive Family Caregiver Support Services

Family Caregiver Services are designed to ensure caregivers receive the support, education, and community they deserve.

Family Caregiver Support Groups

Connect with others who understand your experience through virtual and in-person support groups. These welcoming spaces provide opportunities to share challenges, learn new coping strategies, exchange resources, and find encouragement from fellow caregivers.

Finding Meaning and Hope Discussion Series

Based on the work of Dr. Pauline Boss and her book Loving Someone Who Has Dementia, this guided discussion series helps caregivers build resilience while navigating the emotional complexities of caring for a loved one experiencing memory loss or cognitive decline.

Educational Events and Workshops

Learn practical caregiving skills from experts through webinars, presentations, and educational programs focused on caregiver wellness, aging, dementia, community resources, and other caregiving topics.

Peer Support

Our peer support program connects caregivers with experienced volunteers who have walked similar paths. These one-on-one relationships provide understanding, encouragement, and real-world insights from someone who has been there before.

Next Chapter in My Life

This specialized program supports caregivers who are approaching the end of their caregiving journey or adjusting after caregiving has ended. Through facilitated sessions, participants explore purpose, healing, connection, and what comes next.

Resource Navigation and Community Connections

Receive guidance on available services, community resources, support programs, and tools that can help you care for your loved one while supporting your own well-being.

It was because of what I learned in my Duet support group that I made a decision that added to Ed’s quality of life.
